Shack is back. For those who are versed in basketball 90 years means something. For others perhaps it will be only one sentence in rhyme. Shack is not Shaquille O'Neill (who is Shaq), but Charles Shackleford, who played years ago with Caserta. Caserta with the la targa CE, non la frazione di Valmadrera. Caso vuole che fosse la mia squadra preferita (perché era bianconera e si chiamava Juvecaserta): alcuni amici un pomeriggio in Oratorio cominciarono a chiamarmi Shack, come l’idolo della mia squadra. E così nacque un soprannome.

Tanti mi conoscono come Shack, tanti coma Fabio Crimella. Pochi a Oliveto, di più a Valmadrera.

Prima cosa, quindi, presentazioni per chi non mi conosce.

Ho 30 anni, sono nato a Lecco e vivo da sempre a Valmadrera, come i miei genitori e ¾ dei miei nonni.

Studi: Linguistico al Bertacchi di Lecco. Mi sono poi laureato in Scienze dell’Educazione all’università di Padova.

Lavori: ho cominciato collaborando con la Scuola Primaria “Cuore immacolato di Maria” di Valmadrera, poi ho insegnato alla scuola dell’Infanzia (insomma, ho fatto il maestro d’asilo!) prima alla Gavazzi di Valmadrera, poi a Beverate di Brivio e a Casletto di Rogeno. Ora lavoro come educatore professionale da ormai 4 anni per una cooperativa di Lecco in diversi servizi della psichiatria sulla provincia.

Impegno civico: nel 2004 sono stato eletto con la lista “Progetto Valmadrera” nel consiglio City of my town.
