Quindi il totale fa 89.851 t/a. Siccome ora il massimo autorizzato è 87.000 t/a, la Regione dice che bisogna innalzare il tetto a 90.000 t/a. Inoltre dice che, siccome l'impianto ha una potenzialità di 120.000 t/a, allo scadere dei contratti interprovinciali (vedi Sondrio) si dovra valutare l'opportunità di un ulteriore ampliamento dell'autorizzazione, in caso di rinnovo degli accordi.
