misuse of the concept of Jihad suicide bombing in

As the militants of al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden, who have often called for jihaad against countries they consider "infidels" like the United States, urging their followers to target Western interests in Saudi Arabia and all ' abroad.

Other militants have used the 'Islaam as a rallying cry to justify the attacks, arguing that it was all for God's will

"Young Muslims should seek to improve if themselves and their country, but not through violence, because Islaam is not a violent religion is a religion of mercy, "he said.

"A Muslim must understand his religion. 'Duty of young people and the whole Muslim world know that violence is not a way to bring about reform," said Al-Sheikh.
The Grand Mufti stressed that the fight against a perceived evil should not lead to a greater evil.

"The Prophet (peace be upon him) told us to fight against evil. But there is a general rule to examine both the advantages and disadvantages. And if the fight against an evil leads to a greater evil, then the fight is forbidden, "he said.

The Grand Mufti said one of the reasons why some people attacked the other is fear and ignorance.

"Ignorance is a deadly disease because a person thinks he is right when in fact he is wrong," he said, stressing the importance of proper guidance. "One reason is the mistrust of our scholars. People have a duty to trust their scholars and leaders," he said.

Last week, one of the highest authorities of the United Islaam has denounced the terrorist attacks in the Kingdom itself, describing them as "serious criminal acts" and pledged for its full support to the government.

"Acts of sabotage such as bombings, murder and destruction of property are serious crimes and aggression against innocent people ... which reserve severe punishment," said the Council of Islamic Scholars in a statement.

the seventeenth member of the Board, chaired by the Grand Mufti, has declared its support for the actions taken by the state to track terrorists in a bid to protect the country from their actions.

The Islamic body called on the Saudi people to "support the leaders and scholars del paese" in questi tempi difficili per la lotta contro i "malvagi".
